LIMA — Apparently a guilty conscience simply got the best of him.
Eleven months after robbing a Lima restaurant at knife-point, a Lima man walked into the Lima Police Station and admitted his misdeeds. An Allen County grand jury has now returned an indictment calling for the young robber to be held accountable for his actions.
Dakota Balo, 20, faces charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping, both first-degree felonies, in connection with the Jan. 16, 2017, armed robbery of the Happy Daz restaurant at 1064 Bellefontaine Ave. in Lima.
