LIMA — An arrest was pending after the execution of a search warrant at a Lima residence Thursday that turned up cocaine, marijuana and cash.
According to a statement from the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, investigators went to a home at 1580 N. Persons in the home at the time, according to the statement, included Chivas Shurelds, Scott Shurelds and several small children.
While at the residence, investigators said they smelled a strong odor of raw marijuana. An affidavit and search warrant were prepared and were presented to Judge David Cheney of Allen County Common Pleas Court who authorized the execution of a search warrant at the residence.
