Ex-Shawnee employee pleads guilty to theft

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — A former Shawnee schools employee pleaded guilty to two felony theft charges Thursday morning.

Kimberly K. Hall, 54, of 771 Kiowa Trail, Lima, pleaded guilty to theft of office, a third-degree felony; and grand theft, a fourth-degree felony. Prosecutors dismissed a third-degree felony charge of money laundering. Prosecutors charged her with stealing more than $56,000 from the district and a booster organization.

A judge set her sentencing for Oct. 29.

Hall served as a secretary at Shawnee Middle School before becoming facilities administrative assistant on March 14, 2016. She also was treasurer of the Shawnee Baseball Boosters Association.
