LIMA — A 17-year-old boy accused of robbing an employee of a local pharmacy could be tried as an adult.
Senneca Rivers, of Indiana, was at a hearing Thursday in Allen County Juvenile Court to be advised of the aggravated robbery charge against him. Prosecutors are seeking to try him as an adult.
Rivers and three adults charged, Abigail Lee, 26; Treyvon Manning, 18, and Quintez Hawkins, 18, all of Indianapolis, also are under investigation to see if they are connected to a string of similar robberies at pharmacies in Ohio and Indiana that match the way the crimes happened in Lima, said Allen County Sheriff Lt. Mark Baker.
