LIMA — A man who fired a gun at a car after his friend shot a man inside a bar last year was sent to prison for five years this morning.
Cameron Lott, 20, was sentenced on the charge of felonious assault with a gun. He apologized for his conduct. The shooting happened at the G-Spot bar on March 27 after his friend, Donovan Peoples, 19, shot a man inside the bar. Peoples has pleaded guilty to charges and is awaiting sentencing.
The two were running out of the bar and across the street when they nearly were struck by a car they ran in front of. Lott, apparently upset that he almost got hit, fired a shot at the car as the driver continued down the road, Assistant Allen County Prosecutor Tony Miller said.
