LIMA — A Lima man’s pie-making business suffered a potential setback Monday when its owner-operator was sentenced to prison for four years on an assortment of criminal charges.

Calvin Goode, 54, who has been marketing California Goode Sweet Potato Pies through an affiliation with the “Shark Tank” television program, was sentenced in Allen County Common Pleas Court on charges of robbery, having a weapon while under disability and possession of marijuana, all third-degree felonies.

Judge Jeffrey Reed followed a plea agreement negotiated between prosecutors and Defense Attorney Greg Donohue that called for a maximum prison sentence of four years. Reed sentenced Goode to three years in prison on the possession charge and an additional 12 months for having a weapon under disability. Those sentences were ordered to be served consecutively to each other, but concurrently with a two-year sentence on the burglary charge.
