A suppression hearing for Scott Catlett was continued after the prosecution entered a 4-hour DVD of an interview of Catlett at the Lima Police Department into evidence. Judge David Cheney will review the interview and then make a determination on whether it or any portions of it would be suppressed. Catlett is charged with a four count indictment including kidnapping, two counts of rape and a felonious assault charge. He was indicted in July after he was arrested on a complaint to Lima Police of an incident where a man claimed he was kidnapped and sexually assaulted at Catlett's home.
Catlett will be back in court October 11th with his trial scheduled to begin November 6, 2017.
