The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office is located in the Court of Appeals Building on the corner of Main and High Streets in downtown Lima. Our general office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
During the summer months, between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the prosecutor’s office adheres to the Summer Schedule set by the Allen County Common Pleas Court. While on the Summer Schedule, our office hours are 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. On Fridays in the summer, a staff member can still be reached by phone during regular summer office hours, by calling the office phone number listed above.
To speak with a prosecutor or staff member about a particular case, please call or email the office so that you may be put in contact with the appropriate person. If possible, please provide us with the defendant’s name and/or case number of the case about which you are making an inquiry.
If you wish to speak with a prosecutor in person, we recommend that you call first to schedule an appointment. While generally a staff attorney is present in the office at all times, the assistant prosecutors are frequently in and out of the office due to court appearances and other obligations.
