Destiny Caldwell

Allen County Prosecutor

 

Destiny Caldwell is a graduate of Ohio University, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in political science in 2004. She attended Law School at Ohio Northern University and received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2008. Prior to joining the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office in July of 2014, Ms. Caldwell was employed as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Lima and then later as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Hardin County.

Kyle Thines

Chief Assistant Prosecutor, Criminal Division

 

Kyle Thines is a lifelong resident of Allen County, Ohio who graduated from Lima Senior High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and graduated cum laude, from The Ohio State University at Lima in 2010. He received his Juris Doctorate degree, and graduated cum laude, from Ohio Northern University in 2016. While in law school, he interned in the civil and juvenile departments of the Allen County Prosecutor’s office. He is currently assigned to the Criminal Division.

Kayla Rogers

Assistant Prosecutor, Civil Division

 

Kayla Rogers is a graduate of Heidelberg University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2016. She then attended law school at Ohio Northern University, where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree and graduated Manga Cum Laude in 2019. While in Law School, she served as the Articles Research Editor for the Ohio Northern Law Review Editorial Board. She also interned at the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office in the Civil Department as a law student. She is currently assigned to the Civil Division.

Ashley Stansbery

Assistant Prosecutor

Ashley Stansbery, earned a Bachelor of science degree in business management, a Bachelor of arts degree in law and liberal arts, and a masters of business administration degree in 2013 from the University of Findlay. Ms. Stansbery attended Law School at Ohio Northern University and received her Juris Doctorate degree, as well as  a Master of Professional Practice in Accounting degree in 2016. Ms. Stansbery was employed as an intern with the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office while in law school.

Joshua Carp

Assistant Prosecutor, Criminal Division

 

Joshua Carp is a graduate of Taylor University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in History, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2015. Mr. Carp then received his Juris Doctorate from the Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University in 2020. While at Ohio Northern, Mr. Carp served as the Lead Articles Editor of the Ohio Northern Law Review and as a member of the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court team. While in law school, Mr. Carp interned with the Lima Municipal Court Prosecutor’s Office and with the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office. He is currently assigned to the Criminal Division.

Joe Everhart

Assistant Prosecutor, Criminal Division

 

Joe Everhart graduated summa cum laude from the University of Toledo in 2015, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2020. While in law school, he participated on the University’s Trial Team and Moot Court Honor Board and interned with both the Ohio Innocence Project and the City of Cincinnati Prosecutor’s Office. Joe is currently assigned to the Criminal Division.

John Willamowski Jr.

Assistant Prosecutor

 

John is a lifelong resident of Allen County and graduated from Lima Senior High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in History from Ohio Northern University and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree from Ohio Northern’s Pettit College of Law where he graduated cum laude. While at Ohio Northern, John served as the Chief Justice of the Moot Court program, was an Associate Editor for Law Review, and was an advocate on the ABA National Appellate Advocacy team. Since his graduation John has worked as an Associate at a civil litigation firm
